A third generation of a trade, farming and cattle growing family, M Haroon is active in agri-produce export industry. He started in 2002, in Sudan, the private limited company, Africorp International (ACI), to work closely with farmers and crop producers with the view to empower them, both socially and economically, by building capacity and availing a better access to international market. ACI is a business with a high commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). It is a leading Sudanese agri-produce export company selling Organic and Fair Trade certified products to the international market.   In 2011 M Haroon co-founded, in the United Kingdom, FAAS Trade & Investment Ltd, a new private limited company twinning with ACI to expand business operations beyond existing borders.

To institutionalize and enhance ACI & FAAS CSR activities, M Haroon co-founded Ataa, 2012, a non-profit, foundation. Ataa is already engaged with local communities in developing new products and assisting the improvement of their quality of life.
