5.3.1. Thesis:

1. Serodiagnosis of Animal Trypanosomiasis in the Sudan (M.V.Sc., U. of K.).

2. Transmission Studies on Some Animal Trypanosomes (Ph.D., U of K).

3. Over 25 scientific papers published locally and in international journals between 1978 till now.

4. Over 10 oral presentation and 10 posters presented at various scientific conferences.

5.4 Present Research Activities:

1. Continues research for revealing factors causing drug resistance in Trypanosomiasis infection.

2. Continues research on determination of Trypanotolerant characters Sudanese sheep, goats and cattle.

3. New area for characterization of strains of Thielera spp. in the Sudan and the vaccine production.

4. Community participatory techniques in disease ranking and disease burden in animals.

5. Mapping of diseases especially vector borne.
