1.     The Academic Advisor of the Veterinary Students Association (1985-1986) and also the scientific supervisor of the Parasitology Society (1985-1988).

2.     The representative of the staff members at the Faculty Research Board (1987-1988).

3.     Member of the Students Cases Committee (1987-1988).

4.     Participated in the 50th Anniversary of the Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Khartoum (January 1988) by acting:

i.                   Member of the organizing committee.

ii.         Member of the group responsible for recruitment of financial support.

iii.        Member of the group responsible for maintenance of Professor El Nazier Building.

iv.        Rapporteur of scientific session entitled “Blood and ectoparasites”.

5-Appointed Head of the Faculty Examination Committee and continued for 2 years 91989-1991).

6.     Elected by the Faculty Board to represent the Faculty in the University Examinations and Prizes Committee (1990-1991).

7.     In 1991, I was nominated by the Dean to represent the Faculty at the Scientific Committee set up by the Under-Secretary, Ministry of Animal Resources that formulated “Strategies on Research on Animal Health and productivity in Sudan”.

8.     Member of the Academic Reform Committee formed by the Dean to revise and update the curriculum of the Faculty.

9.     Representative of the Faculty at the Services and Housing Committee, Shambat, 1997 to 2008.

10.   Member of the Faculty Board and Faculty Research Board and Senate during the periods (1989-1992), (1992-1996) and (2001 to date).

11.   Member of the Faculty of Medical Laboratory Sciences, University of Khartoum (2005 to date).

12.   Director of Camel Research Centre (2001-2007).

13.   Represented the Faculty at the International Conference on Camel Research and Development, held at Wad Medani, 91-2 December, 2002.

14.   Member of the organizing committee and repertoires of the session on the Conference of Sleeping Sickness.
