In addition to supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students, I managed to get the following grants:

1- AFord Foundation Grant through the Institute of Environmental Studies, U. of K. to Study Biodiversity in Alhamdab Dam area, 1994 (see publication no. 34).

2- AFord Foundation Grant Through the Institute of Environmental Studies, U. of K. to Study Promotion of Aquaculture through Feeds from Non-conventional Sources, 1997 (see publication no. 35).

3- A grant from The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, through Sudan Institute For Natural Sciences, to Study the Nimitt Simulium griseicolle problem in Northern State, to be executed in 2005 by a team of relevant experts.

4- A grant from The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, through Sudan Institute For Natural Sciences, to use termites mounds in mineral prospecting, to be executed in 2005 by a team of relevant experts.

5- Upgrading of Systematic knowledge in flora and fauna. A project requested by The Higher Council for Environment and Natural Resources Khartoum and submitted to the United Nation Development Programme for funding. (See page 27 in publication no. 41,).

6- Flora and Fauna of the desert. A project requested by The Higher Council for Environment and Natural Resources Khartoum and submitted To the United Nation Development Programme for funding. (See page 29 in publication no. 41).
