1. Federico A. Vilallonga Memorial Award for Excellence in Graduate Studies, University of Florida, USA.

  2. College of Pharmacy Prize for Excellence in Graduate Research, University of Florida, USA.   Thesis title “The disposition of codeine in sickle cell patients compared to healthy controls.”   Under the supervision of Late Dr. Edward Garrett (1986 – 1987) then Professor Hartmut Derendorf.
