• Thesis title: "Comparison of Growth and Hemoglobin Concentration in Exclusively Breastfed Infants for Four Months Compared to Six Months, with and without Iron Supplementation in Khartoum State". • The research was a clinical trial involving the selection of about 400 newborn infants in the Omdurman Maternity Hospital. The infants were followed up in their homes through a network involving fifty nutrition assistants who operated out of ten reference health centers. The infants and their families were offered free medical care and medicines for the whole year as motivation for their participation and commitment to the program. • Awarded the degree with Distinction.
