I collaboration with senior staff in other universities I co-supervise PhD and MD students. I’m working jointly with my colleagues to start a chapter for Sudan in the International League against Epilepsy (ILAE) as well as starting an MD- Neurology training program in Sudan.

This is hoped to be well structured postgraduate training program to provide the country with a sustained flow of highly skilled neurologist in the future.

I started a series of clinical neurology courses in Sudan. This is done jointly with my colleagues. This is aimed at boosting the clinical skills of post graduates and practicing doctors in neurosciences.

The 6th Course is scheduled for 29th -30th Feb 2013. I hope these will attract trainees from neighbouring countries in Sub Saharan Africa as no such programs exist to the best of my knowledge.
