a- Field work in ethnic conflicts in Sudan, data for Master degree thesis.

b-Field work in Khartoum (Sudan) from October 3 to December 29, 2002 to conduct a personal  interview with  the leaders of Associations of Darfur, Beja and Nuba as well as with the squatter people of Nuba Beja and Darfur in Khartoum ,to collect data to Ph.D thesis .

c- Field work in West Darfur from 17 to 27 March 2001 for a joint research project sponsored by Zalnigi University, West Darfur ,Sudan .The topic of the research was “The conflict between Pastoralist and the Sedentary people of West Darfur ,proceeding published in a book .

d- Field research in the Blue Nile, Gadarif and Kassala states from May 12 to June3 2002, to conduct a research on tribal conflict in these States.
