–   Supervised the Ornamental Nursery of the Dept. of Horticulture and the gardens of the Faculty of Agriculture at Shambat.

–   Represented the Dept. of Horticulture in the Faculty Board for several years.

–   Board Secretary of the Department of Horticulture for three years.

–   Board member and Vice President of the Sudanese Horticulture Society, and responsible for organizing and designing exhibits and flower shows.

–   Supervised the Faculty’s participation in flower shows, which were awarded the First Prize many times.

–   Designed and implemented many public and private landscape projects e.g. Faculty of Agriculture grounds, the Headquarters of the Judiciary System at Khartoum, the Friendship Palace Hotel, the Residence of the Vice Chancellor of the University of Khartoum.

–   At the Dean’s request, supervised the establishment of the Computer Unit at the Faculty of Agriculture, U. of K.
