I supervised 17 PhD and 45 MSc. Students on Forestry and land Resource Management, & social forestry at the Faculty of Forestry, University of Khartoum and other universities including one PhD at the University of Helsinki being a co-supervisor. Presently appointed a supervisor for six PhD and ten MSc students basically on Climate Change issues and adaptation mitigation. The problems areas cover sustainable forest management, aforestation/deforestation, agro-forestry management, forest yield science and forest measurements. Below are selected examples.
