–   Member of the technical committee formed by the Sudanese National Council for Research (N.C.R.) for writing and organizing a reference book on the Natural Resources of the Sudan (1982).

–   Leader of the Research Group who evaluated the irrigation system of the 600 Feddans (acres) University of Khartoum Top farm (1980).

–   External Examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate students of many Sudanese universities and institutions.

–   Member of the Steering Committee formed in (1981) to study, conduct research and evaluate various methods of irrigation and drainage in the Rahad Agricultural Project – Sudan.

–   Member of the Committee for Community Service, King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia (1982 – 1988).

–   Member then head of the Technical Committee formed by the Sudanese Standards and Metrology Organization (SSMO) to standardize the agric-machineries, implements and irrigation equipments (since 1994).

–   Repporteur of the Arabicization Committee in the Fac. Of Agric. And member of the Committee in the University of Khartoum, (1990 – 1996).

–   Acted as a Focal Point for the Arab Organization for Agric. Development (AOAD) in the Interagency Task Force (I.A.T.F.) on Land and Water Resources formed by the international RNE/FAO, WHO, (1996 – 1998).

–   Team leader  of  two Research Groups requested by  Khartoum State Ministry of Agric , Animal Resources and Irrigation (2006) to Study and evaluate:

(1)  Impact of Magnetic Technology on Irrigated Agriculture.

(2)  Promotion of Grapes production under Sudan condition.

–   Team Leader of the Research Project entitled: Reuse of Treated Waste Water for Agricultural Activities Sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research – Sudan, 2006.

–   Team Leader of the Research Project entitled: Rainwater Harvesting and Conjunctive Use of Water Resources under Dry Land Condition – case study: Rawakeeb area, West Omdurman Sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research – Sudan, 2007.

–   Member of the Research Team of the Research Project entitled: Effect of Different Cropping systems on Organic Matter levels on Rain Fed and Irrigated Agriculture, Sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research – Sudan, 2007.

–   Member of the Technical Committee to study and evaluate the performance of Green houses and to improve and/or Modernize Irrigation System in Khartoum State, 2007
