Faculty of Agriculture, University of Khartoum:

Supervised the training of 27 Postgraduate Students with M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees awarded and supervision of 4 Postgraduate Students in Progress in the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Khartoum.

Food and Agriculture Organisation  – UN:

  1. Developed 3 training courses on Postharvest Physiology and Handling of Fruits and Vegetables (Aden, PDR-Yemen: 1988-89). Trained 25 Yemeni agricultural engineers from the research, extension, plant production, co-operatives, and marketing departments on different aspects of Postharvest Technology of Fresh Fruits and Vegetables. FAO.
  2. Conducted an intensive 3-week training course on Postharvest Technology of Fresh Fruits and Vegetables at the National Agricultural Training Center in Dhmar, Republic of Yemen (1992). Thirty one subject matter specialists and extension workers participated in the course. FAO.
  3. Conducted an intensive 6-day training course on Postharvest Physiology and Handling of Horticultural Corps in the Central Forestry Development Training Center at Hmaw Bi, Myanmar (1993). Thirty Nine technical officers from the Forestry Department and the Myanmar Agricultural Services were trained on different aspects of Postharvest Technology of Horticultural Corps.  FAO.
  4. Conducted a workshop on Home Preserving and Processing of Fruits and Vegetables at the Central Forestry Development Training Center in Hmaw Bi, Myanmar (1993). Thirty technical staff from the Forestry Department, Agricultural Services and the Training Center participated in the workshop. Different preserving and processing techniques of fruits and vegetables described through lectures, slide-shows, demonstrations and discussion session. A simple, cheap to build and mobile family-type sun dryer was introduced. FAO.
  5. Developed career programs and trained counterparts on Loss Assessment in Perishable Corps, and to conduct training programs on Postharvest Technology  and prepared training modules on Postharvest Handling Systems of the major fruits and vegetables in PDR-Yemen (1987-1989), Republic of Yemen (1991-1992), The Union of Myanmar (1993) and Egypt Arab Republic (1994-1995). FAO.
  6. Supervised the implementation of training programs to the different Yemeni trainee categories of The Ministry of Agriculture (1987-1992). FAO.
  7. Provided advisory services to State Farms, Cooperatives, Companies, Research Centers, Public Corporations for Marketing of Vegetables and Fruits and Private Sector to improve methods and subsequent handling procedures in PDR-Yemen (1987-1989), Republic of Yemen (1991-1992), The Union of Myanmar (1993) and Egypt Arab Republic (1994-1995). FAO.
  8. Carried a 3-day workshop on Posthavest Handling of Artichokes at the Horticultural Research Institute in Cairo, Egypt (1995). The workshop was attended by forty four participants, including producers, packers, exporters and technical staff involved in artichoke production, handling and processing. FAO.

International Labor Organization:

Developed training programs on Postharvest Technology of Horticultual Corps. Implemented these training programs to: Directors of the Youth Centers-International Labor Organization, Khartoum (1983-85).
