(B) Awards

(1) Awarded the travel award to participate in the 13th Conference of the Society of Free Radical biology and Medicine (SFRBM) as a testimony for the best Abstract submitted to participate in the 13th SFRBM meeting and conference in Denver, Colorado, USA, November 2006 (Appendix 24). Also entitled for free registration to the 14th or 15th annual meetings of the SFRBM to be held in Washington DC, Nov. 2007 and Indianapolis, Nov. 2008 respectively (Appendix 25).

(5) Awarded the prize of the Seminar of Recent Advances in Animal Health and Production No 23. Jointly organized by the faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Putra University (Malaysia) and the faculty alumni March 2000 for the best research and talk presented (Appendix27)

(8) Awarded the prizes for the top score during undergraduate studentship, from University of Khartoum, in the subjects of Microbiology, Preventive Medicine and Veterinary Public Health, Medicine, Therapeutics and Toxicology and Animal Nutrition.
