Work Experience

  • Feb 2015-July 2016: Teaching Assistant: at the Civil Engineering Department – University of Khartoum.

Duties:

Prepare and handle tutorials and lab sessions for the following subjects:

4th grade: Theory of Structure II, Design of Rein.Conc. Structure II.

3rd grade: Fluid Mechanics I, Fluid Mechanics Lab, Design of Rein.Conc., Structure 1.

2nd grade: Mechanics of Materials, Civil Eng. Drawing.

Co-supervising senior students’ graduation projects with Prof. Ali Zaroug. Department exam coordinator and in charge of academic record.

Supervise local and international academic trips (supervision of 100 students).

 

  • March 2015-March 2016: Engineer at Technocon EngineeringGroup.

Analysis and design of structures using software (ETABS, SAFE and AutoCAD).

  • Nov 2014-Nov 2015: Junior Engineer at UKCC (University of Khartoum Consultancy Corporation). Perform tests to monitor buildings durability and design projects (buildings, tanks,culverts,..etc).
