- Bachelor of Arts in History (second class -Honours-division one) from Khartoum University 1975.
- General diploma in education from Ain Shams University-Egypt 1979.
- Special Diploma in Education from Ain Shams University-Egypt 1979.
- Master Degree in education (the field of mental retardation) from Ain Shams University –Egypt 1982.
- Ph.D.Degree in Education (the field of mental retardation) from Ain Shams University Egypt 1985.

1-Assistant prof in the department of Applied Psychology- Faculty of Education- University of Khartoum (from 1985 to 1991).
2-Head department of special Education and Adult Education (Faculty of Education-University of Khartoum (from 1989-1991).
