I) Teaching agricultural economics courses (Principles of economics, Economic Development and Planning, Farm Accounting, Farm Management, Production Economics, and Agricultural marketing) for under-graduate students.

II) Supervising research works and studies conducted by undergraduates a, and participating in the faculty and department administrative and training activities and committees.

1988- 1992 Head department of Agricultural Economics (1990-1992),

Faculty of Agricultural Studies, Sudan University of Science and Technology, participated in the faculty academic programs (teaching agricultural economics courses offered by the faculty) and administrative committees. I have been member for curriculum revision committee, member of the faculty committee for research, extension and education program.

1984-1988 Agricultural Economist at the Ministry of Finance and Economic    Planning, Planning Section (Khartoum).

• Achievements: As economist in the Agricultural sector of the ministry I have participated in the preparation and formulation of the development plans, programs and strategies for national economic development. Specifically, The National Economic Recovery programs (1984-86), The Four Year Economic Salvation and Recovery Program (Member of Agricultural Cooperation Committee, Four Year Salvation and Recovery Economic Program, 1987), Rapporteur for the agricultural services sub-committee, agricultural sector conference, National Economic Conference, 1986..Also I have been responsible from the implementation of the annual budget and follow-up of the implementation of the agricultural and irrigation national development projects.
• I have further participated in the preparation of the studies conducted by the sector on different agricultural issues and problems specifically those about competitiveness of and comparative advantage and agricultural prices of cereals in Sudan.
