– 1989 visited different research stations in the United Kingdom and met with weed scientists and agricultural quarantine specialists (sponsored by the British Council).
– 2001 visited the Institute of Insect Physiology, Nairobi, Kenya, as a supervisor of a Ph. D. thesis submitted to the University of Khartoum.
– 2004 participated in the Arab Apiculture Forum and presented a paper entitled ” Sudan Experience in Apiculture”. Jordan
– visited agricultural fairs in Egypt, Syria and Jordan.
– visited most of the state universities, in Sudan, for teaching and/or as an external examiner.
– visited most of the states in Sudan and carried out training sessions on pesticides safe use and environmental awareness
