It is the main reference text book for medical students in many of the medical schools globally including our school. The translation was a collaborative work which involved colleagues from Syria and Sudan. The book won the prize of the best scientific book translated to Arabic language in the year 2001 from the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences.
