(A)    Undergraduate Level:

 

i )      Introduction to Society: (Intermediate year): a course on the application of    main sociological & anthropological theoretical concepts and approaches to the        study of small scale societies; academic sessions:1983/84-1984/85-1985/86

 

ii)   Urban African Studies: (Fourth Year): a course that deals with the study of various    aspects of the process of social change in modern Africa with particular reference          to the implications of the developments of urban systems and institutions of the          African context; academic sessions: 1984/85-1985-86.

 

iii)     Contemporary Sociological Theories (Fifth year Honours); a course that         attempts an extensive and intensive critical survey of the major sociological      approaches.          Applied manifestations of these approaches are also being analyzed; academic     sessions 1986/87-1987-88.

iv)     Introduction to Social Science (Preliminary Year); a course that introduces basic       concepts and approaches employed in Social Sciences; academic Sessions    1989/90-     1990-91.
