1. 1997- to date: Associate Professor, Botany department, Faculty of Science, University of Khartoum, Sudan. Besides teaching and research I was assigned the following academic administrative duties
a. Head of the scientific committee for the celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of the Faculty of Science, University of Khartoum.
b. Co-coordinator of teaching basic Sciences to preliminary year Students of the Faculty of Dentistry Medicine, University of Khartoum since 2009 2017.
c. Co-ordination of teaching basic Sciences to preliminary year Students of the Faculties of Pharmacy, University of Khartoum since 2009- 2017.
d. 1998- 2013: Member of the Field Training Committee, for botany students.
e. (2001-2008) and (2010-2013) Secretary, botany Department Board, f. 1999- to date: Botany Department Representative in the Committee for assignment of Biology Students to specialized departments .
g. 1999- 2011: Member of the Laboratory Organization Committee, Faculty of Science. a2009 -2010Member of the Faculty of Science for Assessment of the performance of the first year Students (biological Sections).
h. Coordinator of teaching basic Sciences to first year Medical students, Faculty of medicine, University of Khartoum, Sudan, 2007-2008.
2.1994 – 1996: Part-time Consultant; Tanmiah Consultants Ltd. Company, Cairo, Egypt. Duties included survey of Human Resources in Arab Countries in Science and technology, civil and agricultural engineering and environmental planning.
3. 1990-1994: Assistant Professor, biology department, Tahadi University, Misrtata. Libya; seconded by University of Khartoum, Sudan. Besides my teaching duties I was assigned as secretary of the Examinations and curricula committee in the last two years of my work.
. 4. 1989-1990: Assistant Professor, Faculty of Science, Sebha University, Libya; seconded by University of Khartoum, Sudan. Besides my teaching duties at the Faculty of Science, I was assigned the duty of teaching genetics and biochemistry to first year students at the Faculty of medicine, Sebha University.
