I joined the Department of Medicine, University of Khartoum and Department of Neurology in Shaab Teaching Hospital in October 1992. Since then I have been teaching and examining under graduate as well as postgraduate medical students from University of Khartoum as well as from other universities.

I gained considerable experience in neurology during my stay with my senior colleagues. I joined the Institute of Neurology, University of London and had further training in Neurology in the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London in the Period 1996-1997.

I supervised more Than 15 MD theses for partial fulfilment of the degree of Clinical MD in Medicine, University of Khartoum and was chosen internal examiner for more than 10.

Also I was chosen internal examiner and co-supervisor for many of the MD theses in other Medical disciplines.

I participated as external examiner for undergraduate students in different universities in Sudan.

I also participated in training and evaluation of postgraduate students in the Sudanese Medical Specialization council.
