1.     Two months in Britain on a British Council fellowship, 1971.  Six weeks were spent at the Welsh Plant Breeding Station and one week at the Cambridge Plant Breeding Institute.

2.     Five weeks study tour in the former Soviet Union on an IAEA/FAO fellowship, 1972. Visited plant breeding institutes in Moscow, Leningrad, Kiev and Novisbrisk.

3.     Three months in Holland on a Netherlands fellowship, 1973.
