Community Service

· Sudan Shipping Line Co. (2001-2002). Member of privatization study committee. Duties include , preparation of sub-report of the final report of the committee on the evaluation of the financial performance and position which included, cash flow analysis, financial ratio analysis, trend analysis and application of models of predicting corporate failures. This in addition to participation in the valuation of the company by using various valuation models.

· Bank of Khartoum (2001-2002). Member of privatization study committee. Duties include, preparation of a report on the financial aspects of the bank ie analysis of the bank financial statements.

· Chairman of the committee for the selection of auditors for the audit of the Institutional Capacity Building for Poverty Reduction Strategy and Good Governance Project (ICBPRGGP)-Ministry of Finance and & National Economy, Khartoum-Sudan. For the years 2008, 2009 and2010. Duties include evaluation of technical and financial proposals and review of audit reports.

· Member of the Advisory Council for the Minister of Finance and National Economy by the virtue of the council of ministers ministerial decree No. (22) for the year 2010. Duties include: (1) Consultation and exchange of views about the performance of the Sudanese economy and provision of suggestions for reform.(2) Exchange of views about the macroeconomic policies to meet the preparation and execution of the public budget.(3) Provision of advise to promote balanced national development performance.(4) Advisory body to develop and promote areas of participation and co-operation with the Sudanese private sector and civil society organizations.(5) Evaluation of the performance of the ministry in the light of the approved plans.(6) Introduction of initiatives that might lead to promotion of performance and raising capacities of human resources.(7) any other matters laid down before the council from the part of the minister.
