· The World Bank has developed a diagnostic tool to facilitate the evaluation of a country’s accounting and auditing standards and practices. The diagnostic tool is comprised of four parts ( part1, Assessment of the accounting and auditing environment part2, Comparison of national accounting standards and International Accounting Standards, part3, Assessment of actual accounting practices, part4, Assessment of auditing standards and practices).
