A.    PUBLICATIONS:

Eight papers were published; three under preparation, one conference paper and a published book (as co-author). A list of publications is attached.

B.    RESEARCH ACTIVITIES:

Acted as supervisor for six post-graduate students, five of them successfully obtained their MVSc. degrees and one a Ph. degree.

At present, a supervisor of two MVSc.  students.

Chief Scientific Investigator and Co-worker, International Atomic Energy Agency Research Contract projects No. SUD 7597-214F. The use of immunoassay methods for improved diagnosis of animal trypanosomosis and monitoring trypanosomosis and tsetse control programmes (1989-1999).

Subject: The use of antibody detection enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (AbELISA) as an epidemiological tool for the study of the prevalence of Trpanosoma vivax in central Sudan.

C.    POST-GRADUATE EXAMINATIONS:

a. Examiner for eight post-graduate students who submitted thesis for MVSc. degrees the University of Khartoum.
