| Researching on phenolic acids, especially salicylic acid and its derivatives (salicylates) as therapeutic agents in plants.Recent studies suggest that salicylic acid and derivatives play vial roles in regulation of physiological processes in plants. Information on the role of salicylic acid in thermogenisis, stress physiology and disease resistance, suggest that under these criteria salicylic acid qualifies as a plant hormone thus far bestowed to only five other molecules. |
