Mariam has got her Bacheloria  in mathematics and computer science in 2009 from FMS, University of Khartoum  , she worked as a reasearcher assistant in the Mathematical & Information Technology Research Unit (MITRU)-Cryptography unit  in 2010.

In 2011, she obtained her Postgraduate Diploma in Mathematical Sciences (AIMS), University of Cape Town, South Africa. Currently, she is working as a teaching assistant, department of Applied Mathematics. Her Curriculum vitae is available here.
