Capacity Building to the institute from different grants

The Wellcome Trust Grant:

  • RNA laboratory with: PCR machine, Gel electrophoresis system, Microcentifuge and pipettes and consumable for RNA extraction and amplification.
  • Cell culture facilities: –20 oC freezer, laminar flow hood, CO2 incubator, distiller, reagents, consumable for cell and parasite culture and training

 

The Royal Society Award:

  • Functional Genomic lab with: Real time PCR machine for gene expression and pathogen detection. Nanodrop machine, for RNA and DNA quantification. Consumable for functional work and training for students.
