Resilient Emergency Preparedness for Natural Disaster Response through Operational Research – acting as co-investigator in joined 2-year research with Lancaster University, England, started on Oct. 2019.

Time Series Analysis and Statistical Modeling of H.264/AVC Video Data:

Supervised 5th year students, 2019, on design and execution of various deep learning models such as:

·         Super Resolution of Medical Images using Generative Adversarial Network

  • Sketch to Image Translation Using generative adversarial networks (GANS)

Road Accident Detection using Convolutional Neural Networks: Supervised 5th year students on design and execution of this system, 2018.

Face Recognition: Supervised students on designing face recognition secured laptop.

Audio Compression – MATLAB; Designed a code that simulates the compression concept of MP3, University of Pittsburgh, 2002.

Embedded Systems – Quartus II. Working with version 1.1 helped in designing a series of mini projects using NIOS processor and mC/OS2, University of Pittsburgh, 2002.

PCB Design – helped in designing and manufacturing a Printed Circuit Board, Sudan Atomic Energy Commission, 1998.

Electronics – C. Designed a model that analyses and synthesizes vocal sounds using basic analog circuit concepts and C language, University of Khartoum, 1995.
