1-    Research Assistant: (Dec. 1996-Nov. 1997), the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI) (Khartoum). Duties were questionnaire design, data collection, tabulation and analysis, in addition to participation in the monthly internal seminar series of the institute and contributions to the issuance of the institute quarterly journal.

2-     Teaching Assistant: (Oct. 1997-Oct. 2000), Department of Economics, University of Khartoum. Duties were teaching seminars in microeconomics, mathematical economics and econometrics at the undergraduate level. In addition, I have been involved in many administrative works such as examination coordination, invigilation and results finalization.

3-     Lecturer in Economics: (Oct. 2000 to present) except the period (Oct. 2003-July 2004): Department of Economics, University of Khartoum, teaching courses in:
