1- Micronet Integrated Solutions:

  • Establishment of the Software department.
  • Implementation of a Software process and Software Development methodology standards.
  • Adaptation of Agile Software Development Concepts [Crystal Clear – Alistair Cockburn] – the company  Software Development Process.
  • Coaching and mentoring 20 developers to adapt the methodology. [Currently all projects use Agile methodology].
  • Management of the software department.
  • Planning, Controlling and Measuring projects progress.
  • Acting as senior developer/ architect for Micronet Software Products.
  • Configuration and preparation of state-of-the-art Software Development tools and environment utilizing:
  • Microsoft Visual Studio.Net 2005, 2008 IDEs.
  • CruiseControl (A Tool for continuous build and integration).
  • Microsoft Visual Source Safe 2005 (A Tool for Source code management).
  • Microsoft Windows Small Business Server with:
    • Microsoft Sharepoint services.
    • Microsoft Exchange Server 2003.
  • Establishment of the Company wide Wireless network with Access points and Security configurations.
  • Contribution to the Development of the in-house company software framework (used as baseline for the company software projects). [Led to measured reduction in development time of 50%].
  • Preparation of all Micronet Proposals.
  • Preparation of Micronet Culture Document, Coding Standards Manual, Source Control Manual, Networking Configuration Manual, Change Control and Software Testing forms.
  • Preparation of training plans for new comers [on-board program] to communicate the company vision, mission, values, culture and the department software development tools and methodologies.
  •   Marketing and promotion of Micronet Software Products, and its international partner [Optimiza Solutions – a Jordanian Company] through technical/commercial presentations.
  • Contribution on the graphic design and layout of Micronet Software Products Splash screens.

Major projects with Micronet Integrated Solutions:

  1. Project Manager and contributor to the contents of Khartoum State Water Corporation [KSWC] Request For Proposals [RFP] document preparation for tender 17-2009 (Supply of Hardware, Networking and Software Solutions).

Responsibilities were:

  1. Proposal preparation and negotiation.
  2. Initial requirements field study.
  3. Preparation of a complete [Microsoft Project] plan with resource allocation.
  4. Coordination of Micronet team members tasks, communicating with KSWC representatives and reporting to higher management.
  5. Preparation of Project Management, GIS and SCADA requirements sections.
  6. Preparation of the newspaper advertisement content of the tender.

  1. Communicating and clarifying tender requirements and coordinating efforts to National and international bidders through emails, formal meetings and web support.
  2.   Designed and developed a support website where bidders can view FAQ or post new ones for processing.

Using MS SQL Server 2005 and ASP.NET [Visual C#.NET].

2-    Project Manager and Software Tester of National Health Insurance Fund [NHIF] ERP Project, a software project for the management of medicine and drug supply, the project executed in 13 Sudanese states, funded by NHIF and completed in 7 months (As planned).

3-    Developed Students Identification Card [ID Card] System for Sudan International University [SIU] with MS SQL Server 2005 as back-end and Visual C#.NET as front-end and integrated the system with an Image-Capturing module.

4- Consultancy project for Ministry of Interior (MOI) – Sudan on the implementation of a Portal & Email
services spanning all Sudanese States.

2- Martyr Organization:

1-      Development of a Personnel System [Oracle 9i and Visual Basic.NET].

2-      Consultancy on new IT Projects Implementation.

3-      Enhancement of the Martyr Services System [Oracle 9i and Developer 6i].

4-      Administration and Maintenance of Accounting System. [Oracle 10g and Developer 6i].
3- Kush IT Company:

1-      Establishment of KushSoft Department.

2-      Interviewing new people applying for Department.

3-      Preparation of Software Development Manual according to ISO 9001:2000 documentation requirements.

4-      Management of the KushSoft Department.

5-      Exploring of new technologies and finding ways of application.

6-      Supervising and guiding (7 Software Developers) on Software Development Projects.

7-      Participating in cross-reference activities with KushNet, KushHardware, KushTraining departments.
