I directed and supervised the graduate programs of a number of students in the Department of Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Khartoum, Sudan. The titles of the M.Sc. Thesis are as follows:

 

(1) Eiman El-Rasheed Diab 1993. Influence of Irrigated forest plantation of Eucalyptus microtheca on some physical and chemical properties of the soil of Abdelmagid Agricultural Scheme, Gezira.

 

(2) Sarra Ahmed Saad 1994. Characterisation of the grey layer of the Gezira soil, Sudan.

 

(3) Abdel Moneim Ahmed Ismail 1995. Physical, chemical and mineralogical characteristics of some selected “Gardud” Soils in Greater Kordofan State.

 

(4) Nawal Ali Mohamed 1995. Electrochemical properties by using potentiometric titration and ion adsorption isotherms in Vertisols, Alfisols and Aridisols of the Sudan.

 

(5) Manal Abdelrahman El-Agib 1997. Effect of organic and inorganic fertilizers, soil types on different chemical elements and calcium magnesium ratio.

 

(6) Igbal Al-Habeeb Omer 1998. Soil mixtures, organic and inorganic fertilizers effects on Mango seedlings leaf burn.

(10) Fuad Hassan Ibrahim 2001. Phosphorus solubility as affected by organic and inorganic fertilizers under sunflower (Helianthus annus L.) cultivation.

 

(11) Mohamed Ahmed Abdalla Ismail 2001. Effects of water regime, texture modification and micronutrient inoculation treatments on snap bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) Performance under saline conditions.

 

(12) Suad Fageeri 2002. Corn (Zea mays) performance under different water regimes, soil types and organic and inorganic fertilizers.

 

(13) Niemat El-Basheer Hamad (2008). Evaluation of maturing and nutrient content of farm manure composted with chicken manure.

I served as a supervisor for more than 13 graduation projects for students who opted for Soil Science, in the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Khartoum, Sudan.
