I) Served with the Ministry of Animal resources as a veterinary officer at
Wad Madani Veterinary Clinic and Central Abattoir, June 1977 – 1978.
II) Appointed teaching assistant in the Department of Clinical Studies,
Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Khartoum, June 1978).
III) Acted Assistant House Surgeon and assisted in practical classes for
B. V. Sc. v student in Surgery, Obestetrics and Gynaecology,
( 1978 – 1980).
IV) Appointed Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery (1984).
E) March – June 1989, received training in the Royal Veterinary College,
London (University of Khartoum – University of Liverpool Link ) on the
following :
* Equine Surgery and Medicine ( Potters Bar Field Station).
* Small Animal Surgery and Medicine (Potters Bar, RVC Camden Town London ) .
* Techniques and application of Electron Transmission and Scanning
Electron Microscopy .
V) Spent six weeks (January – February 1991) in the clinic for Andrology and Artificial Insemination (Hannover – Germany) through University of Khartoum – University of Hannover Link, where I received training on the following :
* Methods of semen collection and evaluation in camels, horses, bulls
, rams, boars.
* Semen processing and preservation of camels and horses .
* In vivo and vitro Embryo transfer in bovine and swine.
* Assessment of infertility in mares using Ultra- Sonography.
VI) Promoted to Associated Professor, July 1994.
