Academic Duties and Responsibilities

My duties and responsibilities are distributed between teaching undergraduate students, supervision of post-graduate students and carrying out research programmes. Topic lectures include general chemistry, chemistry of biological compounds, biochemical metabolic pathways, analytical biochemistry and food enzymes. (undergraduate level) Biochemistry of Food Processing and qualitative research in nutrition (post-graduate level). Isupervised research studies, in the area of food science and Technology, of about 40 M.Sc. students ad 10 Ph.D. students who successfully obtained their higher degrees from Khartoum University.
