2003 – Present

d of Department of Econometrics and Social Statistics, Faculty of Economics and Social Studies, Khartoum University 2003 – till present. With full responsibilities regarding the administrative work, periodic meetings with the staff for teaching load and post-graduate assignments and preparing results for students.. Moreover, I am also responsible for the academic activities regarding the department as far as seminars and preparing papers are concern. This in addition to leading the department committee for the academic reform undertaken in the faculty in which syllabus and courses were restructured and new courses were introduced throughout and over the five years ago (2004-2009).

2003 – 2006

• Secretary of the Research Board, Faculty of Economic and Social Studies 2003-2005. Activities undertaken include preparations of the boards meetings agenda and taking minutes of issues discussed and decisions taken with follow up of their implementations in coordination with the chair man of the board and Dean of the college of graduate studies.

1993-1995

• First statistician in the central bureau of statistics, dept. of foreign
• trade and national income accounts sections. Working at foreign trade, internal trade and national income accounts section, and working at different surveys carried out by the Central Bureau of Statistics.

1995-1999

• Teaching assistant at Khartoum University, faculty of economic and social studies, dept. of Econometrics and social; statistics, 1995. My duties were conducting tutorials and seminars in statistics, mathematics and quantitative methods, in addition to some administrative work such as examinations coordination, invigilation, and result finalization
