Acted as main supervisor for a number of M.Sc. students in the field of Plant Ecology, particularly in the following research lines:

• The effects of mineral nutrients on determining plant species composition and abundance.
• The effects of Industrial chemical effluents on plant growth and distribution.

Acted as an external and internal examiner for a number of M.Sc. and Ph.D. Theses.

Participated in setting the curricula of an advanced diploma, M.Sc., and Ph.D programs for the Institute of Environmental Studies, University of Khartoum.

Now I’m acting as a supervisor for a Ph.D. student at King Faisal University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. THESIS TITLE: “The effects of mineralnutrient factors, heavy metals and salinity on distribution of wild plants at Jubail wildlife sanctuary in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia”.
