May – August 2013, Archimedes Development Ltd, Nottingham, United Kingdom, three month placement as part of master degree. Carrying development for the use ofPecSys® (low methoxy pectin) at neutral pH for in situ gel ophthalmicformulation.

March 2013, University of Nottingham, attending the Royal Society of Chemistry Workshop “Introduction to Glycotechnology”, which talks about the physical properties of polysaccharides and their pharmaceutical use in processing.

December 2012, Biocity , Nottingham, Attended a workshop of Drug Delivery Strategies for Biologics. Learnt about advantages and challenges for Nasal drug delivery, Transdermal delivery technology and Microneedle especially for biologics.

December 2011, Attended a month training course at AMIPHARMA Laboratories – Sudan. Worked as Pharmaceutical Chemist in the Quality Control Department and then in the Research & Development Department.
