•    B.Sc. of Medical Laboratory Sciences, College of Medical Laboratory Sciences, March 1991.
•    Master Degree in Human Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Khartoum March 2000 on the thesis entitled “Erythropoietin Level in acute Plasmodium Falciparum Malaria in relation to Proinflammatory Cytokines and Antimalarial Drugs”. Practical part of the study conducted  in the  Institute of Physiology, Medical University of Lubeck, Germany, supervised by professor W. Jellkmann.(kindly supported by DAAD )
•    PhD Degree in Human Physiology, University of Khartoum, Sudan, March 2011. on the thesis entitled “Induced erythrocyte suicidal death       and its effects on the parasitemia and survival of Plasmodium berghei infected mice: Role of amphotericin-B and gum Arabic”. Practical part of the study conducted in the Physiology Institute 1, Medical Faculty, Eberhard-Karls-University Tuebingen, Germany, supervised by professor Florian Lang.
