(i)   Computers

Well-skilled in the use and application of computers in different aspects of pharmaceutical sciences with especial emphasis to the following softwares:

  1. S-Plus® and Microsoft Excel® for scientificcomputation.
  2. Microsoft office®, Microsoft office publisher® and Microsoft Power Point®, as word processing and interface for the generated Lectures, graphs, plots, pictures anddrawings.
  3. StatSoft®, and Microcal origin™   for creation of balancedstatistical

experimental designs, statistical data analysis, process scale up and products optimization.

  1. Sigma plot® and Statgraphics® for mathematical functions fitting and modeling.

 

(ii)   Pharmaceutical Technology Research

  1. Highly skilled in formulations development, evaluation and optimization.
  2. Excellent experience in solving problems associated with the production variables of many pharmaceutical dosage forms at both small and largescale.
  3. High knowledgeable with respect to setup, operation and maintenance of different apparatus and machines used in small (laboratories level) and large (real) scale production of solid and semisolid drug products such as: Single-punch and multi-stations tablets pressers; Hand- operated, Auger and Vibrational-assisted capsules filling machines; Roller, Cutter and Ball millers; Planatary, Drum and V-type Blenders; Multi-purposes Fluidized bed dryer (FBD); USP/ BP Disintegration and Dissolution testers; Zeta-potential assessors; and Cone plate and SpindleViscometers.
  4. Familiar with working conditions of many devices utilized for drug analysis including UV-single/double beam spectrophotometers and High performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).

 

(iii)   Statistical Modeling

Well experienced in selection, creation, analysis and findings’ interpretations of both descriptive and inferential statistical models that related to Pharmaceutical sciences including development and optimization of drug delivery systems, determination and evaluation of basic and clinical drug pharmacokinetics and fitting of in-vitro/in-vivo drug data to any mathematical models (linear and non-linear ones)
