My BSc project was on a full, rigorous design of a Vis-Breaking (Viscosity Breaking) unit in a Petroleum refinery to produce fuel oil from the Heavy Arabian crude oil using the vacuum distillation bottom product. The project was conducted with three students of my batch and supervised by Dr. Ali A. Rabah, externally examined by Prof. Ahmed Abasaeed from King Saud University. The project was awarded the prize of the Best Chemical Engineering Graduation Project.
I conducted a research project in my fourth undergraduate year on the Utilization of Solar Energy as a potential mitigation to Global warming, the thesis was ranked the top of my class.
