Arguments of knowledge system thinking and social network theory were used to understand how knowledge of farming has been networked among agro pastoral organizations and agricultural institutions in Rahad Agricultural Scheme. Rapid Appraisal of Agricultural Knowledge Systems (RAAKS) as a participatory research method was used and social network data was collected from actors at Rahad Scheme. The structure of the network at Rahad Scheme showed\u00a0\u00a0 prominence of actors who are central to the network\u00a0\u00a0 butcan exploit the network with personal, and politicalinterests. There are actors that are weakly connected within the scheme but can bring knew knowledge by their connections to outside sources of knowledge.
