{"id":26,"date":"2016-12-22T11:00:18","date_gmt":"2016-12-22T11:00:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/staffpages.uofk.edu\/sami\/?page_id=26"},"modified":"2016-12-22T11:00:18","modified_gmt":"2016-12-22T11:00:18","slug":"research-activities","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/staffpages.uofk.edu\/sami\/?page_id=26","title":{"rendered":"Research Activities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Research has generally been directed towards the isolation of plant secondary<br \/>\nmetabolites with special emphasis on Sudanese medicinal plants exhibiting biological<br \/>\nactivities.<br \/>\n\u2022 A wide range of natural products have been isolated and their structures fully elucidated<br \/>\nusing modern spectroscopic techniques.
