  • At the Faculty of Architecture , University of Khartoum:
  • 1998 – 1999 : Head of the Department of Architecture, Univ. of Khartoum.
  •  1997 – 2003 : Coordinator of post graduate studies in the Department of Architecture and coordinator for the Master course of Physical Planning .
  •  March 2003: Deputy Dean of the Institute of Urban Studies. University of Khartoum. For short frequent periods till 2005.
  •  1990 – 1991 : Teaching Assistant, City & Regional Planning Department -M.E.T.U. Ankara. Turkey.
