My work experiences involves both academia and pharmaceutical marketing professions. I had started both professions almost together early in my work life in a parallel manner and without contradictions since year 2007 – 2008 till now. In my work life, i am realized that both professions have supported and endorsed each other, and I enjoy this professions’ overlapping.

1. Regarding academic experience:

• I had worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Khartoum (Sudan), faculty of pharmacy – Department of pharmacology (September 2008 until Dec 2013). Then, I had worked as a lecturer in the University of Khartoum (Sudan), faculty of pharmacy – Department of pharmacology (Jan 2014 till Sep 2015).
• I practiced Clinical Pharmacy at Soba Teaching Hospital (Sudan) as a part of my Master degree program. (April 2012 – September 2012).
• I worked in a part-time job as a clinical pharmacist in the ICU of the international hospital in Khartoum (Sudan). (May 2014 till Sep 2015).
• I had a Review Paper not published yet, titled (P-glycoprotein inhibitors: Efficacy in reversing multi-drug resistance for cancer chemotherapy).
• I had a paper not published yet, titled (The prevalence, treatment modalities, and academic impact of premenstrual symptoms on female medical students: A cross-sectional study in health sciences campus, University of Khartoum, Sudan).
• I got the designation Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) from the Board of pharmacy specialty (BPS) in USA – (December 2012).
• I worked as an instructor in accredited training center (Top Team Center), teaching and orienting the pharmacists who are willing to be prepared for the pharmacotherapy specialty exam (Board of Pharmacy Specialty). (Jan 2013 till Sep 2015).
• I worked as a lecturer in Qassim university (KSA) – College of pharmacy – Department of pharmacy practice (Sep 2015 till June 2017).
• I worked as a coordinator for the master program of clinical pharmacy (Qassim university) (Oct 2016 till June 2017).
• I was heading the e-learning unit – Qassim university – (Oct 2015 – June 2017).
• I had several courses and workshops in the field of e-learning.
• I worked as preceptor PharmD internship students in Buraidah central hospital.
• I was a member of experiential committee (Qassim university)
• I was a member of community service committee (Qassim university)
• I was a member of quality assurance unit (Qassim university)
• Now, i work as a lecturer in the University of Khartoum (Sudan), faculty of pharmacy – Department of pharmacology (Oct 2017 till now).
• I have been assigned as academic secretary of the pharmacology department, University of Khartoum, faculty of pharmacy (Oct 2019 till Aug 2022).
• Recently, I have been assigned as Head of the pharmacology department, University of Khartoum, faculty of pharmacy (Aug 2022 till now).

2. Regarding pharmaceutical marketing experience:

• I worked as a medical representative in the following pharmaceutical companies:
• Marwaco commercial entreprises – Solvay pharmaceuticals.
• Ibaa medical company – ( Ferring pharmaceuticals – Leo pharmaceutical – Blue Nile pharmaceuticals(Jun 2007- Aug 2010 )
• In that period of time, i was promoting for products, preparing & executing presentations at different hospitals & achieving outstations in different states of Sudan.
• I worked as a field supervisor in Blue Nile pharma (Aug 2010 to June 2013)
• Now I work as a scientific office trainer & presenter in Blue Nile pharmaceuticals (June 2013 till Sep 2015, then from Aug 2017 – till now). In this period of time I assume the following:
• I do training sessions to the company’s pharmacists regarding the scientific knowledge of the products and the marketing skills (e.g communication, selling, presentation, and negotiation skills).
• I prepare and do the product presentations in the hospitals.
• I prepare and present the product launches.
• I prepare the scientific part and contribute in the design of products brochures.
