{"id":10,"date":"2017-01-18T11:51:36","date_gmt":"2017-01-18T11:51:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/staffpages.uofk.edu\/mohamed3\/?page_id=10"},"modified":"2017-01-18T11:51:36","modified_gmt":"2017-01-18T11:51:36","slug":"education","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/staffpages.uofk.edu\/mohamed3\/?page_id=10","title":{"rendered":"Education"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After completing general education by 1979, <strong>M Haroon<\/strong> joined UofK\u2019s<strong> Faculty of Arts<\/strong>, where he studied philosophy and psychology and graduated in 1984 with an honor&#8217;s degree in psychology.<\/p>\n<p>Following an appointment as a teaching assistant at the UofK, he obtained, from the same university, a Master&#8217;s degree in psychology, on<strong>: &#8220;The Role of Media in Politically Socializing Sudanese Adults<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>M Haroon<\/em><\/strong> then left for the United Kingdom, 1992-1997, for a PhD program at the <strong>London School of Economics and Political Science {LSE}. <\/strong>In 1997 he obtained a PhD on: <strong>&#8220;Social Representations of Islam in the West &#8220;<\/strong>.
