1-As an associate Professor of Ophthalmology university of Khartoum
a)Teaching and training medical students and supervision of research work.
b)Participation in different faculty medical & administrative activities.
c)Participation in workshops, and staff training activities and curriculum evaluation.
2-Director Abdelfadil Elmaz Training Center:
Responsible for full supervision of candidates for clinical MD ophthalmology. Training/ supervising following progress, conducting training courses, preliminary and final evaluation in the examination.
3-Director Medical Administration Al-Basar Int’l Foundation ( Makkah Eye Complex & Hospitals)
Supervising, fully conducting and regulating the medical activities in 8 Makkah Eye Hospitals in Sudan. In these 8 hospitals there is continuous medical education (CME) programs and research activities with every month visiting consultant from abroad, beside training for different ophthalmic assisting personnel and optometrists.
4-Director mobile eye camps program conducted by Al-Basar Int’l Foundation Sudan
a)This is an outreach community program directed towards prevention of blindness program through the WHO vision 2020 program.
b)Fully responsible for conducting these eye camps visiting, preparing the sites for work and responsible from the working team.
c)I conducted and participated till now in 220 free eye camps in Sudan and 16 African countries and prepared the rest of the 442 other free eye camps since the year 1995 till now.
5-Vice – President Ophthalmology council Sudan Medical Specialization Board ( SMSB)
a)Representing the ophthalmology council as member in the central training council of SMSB.
b)Attending and participating in different activities and committees.
