 Dr Eltom’s current research interest is focus on environmental degradation and

 EIA mainly in areas of drought and desertification ( which are relevant to global

environmental movement). Current topics of particular interest are the identification

 of mast adapted tree species in extreme environmental degraded areas in western

 Sudan. Also identification of community participation and government function

 and regulatory sequence in environmental susceptibility.
 My recent research interest needs new perspectives such as to find collaboration

 with another researcher/s to make interdisciplinary approach active, and to form

 the research group (from outstanding students).
