In 1999 professor El-Obeid was internationally recognized as one of the most distinguished scientists in the world by the American Scientific Enterprise and his personal details, academic and research achievements were included in “WHO IS WHO IN THE WORLD” book which has a world-wide distribution among scientific and research establishments.
He has participated and attended many national regional and international scientific conferences, meetings and workshops.
He has contributed and is contributing to the activities of many of committees constructed by the Ministry of High Education & Scientific Research, Ministry of Health, Sudan Medical Counsel and Sudan Medical Specialization
He has published over 70 papers and review articles in international journal and contributed to many scientific meetings and workshops. He supervised many PhD and Master Degree theses at King Saud University, University of Khartoum, Ahfad University for Women and University of Medical Sciences &
