Teaching activities

The teaching activities included:

Undergraduates teaching:

Teaching undergraduates’ physiology, Toxicology and Clinical E.N.T.

Supervising undergraduates projects in Community Medicine relating to E.N.T.

Introduced block-teaching system in E. N. T. (Full time course) rotating Clinical round system, which give the students the chance to benefit from skills of different teachers.

Postgraduates teaching:

Tutorial for postgraduates part 1 M D E. N. T.

Tutorials & Clinical Rounds for postgraduates Part 2 MD E. N. T.

Lectures for postgraduates of Ophthalmology Master.(relating to E.N.T)

Lectures for postgraduates of Paediatric Medicine (Subjects relating to E. N. T.).

Organised a course in E. N. T. in collaboration with OkayamaUniversity (Japan) Visiting Team.

Further Teaching activities:

Examiner in surgery, in final examinations for Undergraduates, Faculty of Medicine, University of Khartoum for 15 years (1982-1996).

Examination Officer in surgery final exams, University of Khartoum 1991.

Examiner in Physiology for the Second M. B. Exam,

Examiner for undergraduates in ENT, Juba University, Ahfad Women University and Shendi Medical school.

N.B.: Introduced the Objective Structured Clinical Examination Exam System (OSCE) in E. N. T. University of Khartoum.

Internal Examiner MD Otolaryngology Postgraduate Medical Studies, University of Khartoum.

Thesis Examiner MD General Surgery University of Khartoum.

I had high training registrar position in Birmingham. Intensive Training covered the full spectrum of the specialty Otology, Rhinology, Laryngology Head and Neck Surgery. This included Referred .Clinics, Operative Sessions, Emergency on Call duties. Senior House Officers supervision.
