I presented at the APN Methods Training Workshop on “APN Networking: My Experiences as an APN alumnus” the first APN grantees training workshop, the African Peacebuilding Network (APN) of the Social Science Research Council (SSRC) held in collaboration with, the Legon Centre for International Affairs and Diplomacy (LECIAD), University of Ghana, from 20th to 22th June 2017 in Accra,Ghana.
I presented a paper titled “The Missing Link: Women as Care-Provider and Countering Violent Rebellion and Extremism” at the 8th edition of the International Forum “Mediterranean Women” on the theme “Women’s Voices in the Mediterranean and Africa: Movements, Feminisms, and Resistance to Extremism” that took place on May 5th–7th 2017 in Fez, Morocco.
I participated in Working Groups Program Workshop: Re-thinking Security and Insecurity in the Arab Region: A Bottom-Up Approach. The Workshop organized by the Arab Council for the Social Sciences (ACSS), from 8th to 9th April 2016, Beirut – Lebanon. My presented paper: Changing of Gender Roles in light of the continuing conflict and displacement and its relationship with achieving the community security in the ArabWorld.
